Good Grades- Can it be achieved by mugging?

So hi people, as you can read from the title, I leave this question to your decision of whether it is a "yes" or a straightforward "no". But first and foremost, I shall explain the results of mugging to the different kinds of people dependent on the amount of time they mug.

So, what is "mugging"? "Mug" from
any dictionary is just another synonym for a cup. But the "mug" we are talking about here is a rather derogatory word to mean revision. People who are regarded to be "muggers" usually achieve constant good grades, mostly because they are hardworking and dilligent enough to complete the assignments that the teachers instructed the class to do cautiously and delicately.

Okay, now let's move on to the effects of long term and short term mugging on two different kinds of people- with high or average intelligence.

Long term & High intelligence
These are the people who mug almost daily just to get an assignment done on time. They do not need much time to complete every assignment but is willing to take the self-initiative. They have independence in studying and is self-disciplined. They will definitely achieve eye-catching results because they have the gift and is also willing to work for their targets. However, most of them are disassociated from their peers and is left out on their own. When it comes to group work or having social discussions, they are frequently not up to par.

Long term & Average intelligence
This specific group of people also can do well, but not as well as the first group in a normal scenario. They have the fighting spirit and the will of doing well in school. They can get A1s if they are consistently mugging for tests and study topics. Similarly, they are not very popular or well-liked in school due to their dormancy in team events.

Short term & High intelligence
They are the most successful group of people. They can achieve results at the same standard as the people in the previous group and at the same time, be popular among crowd as they connect with commoners very well. They do need much time to familiarise with the topic as long as they pay close attention during lessons.

Short term & Average intelligence
They are the people who usually pull "up" the class' MSG. They do not really care about their own learning neither they do they want to. They really know how to enjoy peaceful times throughout the whole year and are mostly outstanding in terms of their own popularity. People makes them friends either really sincerely because they find this group of people very "cool" or are hypocrites because the former do not see any competition between the two of them and therefore, can have peace in their minds that their friends will not outshine themselves.

Actually yes and no. Like you said, there are many cases to be considered. Some natural born smart people barely need to read and they can already score good grades. However, some people would have to work so hard to achieve good grades. Like Thomas Edison said, "天才只有百分之一的天资加上百分之九十九的努力“, which implies that regardless of your intelligence, working hard is the main way to success.

I think that even those people who are naturally smart or gifted need to study and work hard. They cannot achieve good grades just based on their natural intelligence. If it was such the case, why are schools even needed? I believe that no matter how smart are you, you still need to study and work hard for good grades.
